Yes: Fragile

Fragile is a good album but doesn't compare to their previous release "The Yes Album".
There are several great songs on this album (like "Roundabout") but there are also a couple of pretentious tunes (like "Cans and Brahms".)
This release's "bonus" extras include the very lame "America" and an unneccesary "rough cut" of Roundabout.
On a more positive note, the digital remastering of this CD was well done and the sound is excellent.

The Yes Album

The Yes Album was a radical departure from the band's previous work and launched them as one of the best, if not the best, progressive rock groups.
There's not a bad cut on this album - not even the "bonus" extras.
The digital remastering was well done as the sound is excellent.
If I were to have only one Yes album, this would be it.

Dennis The Menace

Does anyone think this cartoon is funny anymore? Was it ever? It should be called Dennis, the ill-mannered, annoying little pest. I'd like to see Mr. Wilson smack the shit out of Dennis! Now I ask you, who would continue to allow that little shithead to keep pestering him constantly? And what about his parents? Why aren't they disciplining the little brat? Let me tell you, if I would have behaved like Dennis when I was a kid, I would have been in deep shit! It's high time this stupid cartoon faded into the sunset.
And don't even get me started about "The Lockhorns"!

Led Zeppelin Remasters

Led Zeppelin Remasters gives you all the major Zep tunes in one convenient 2 CD set.
Jimmy Page oversaw the digital remastering and the sound is excellent.
Zep purists my be slightly annoyed at the sequencing of the tunes (like with "Heartbreaker") but the casual fan shouldn't mind a bit.
So stick this in your CD player, pump up the bass, crank up the volume and prepare to be blown away by the greatest R&R band ever!

Santana - Lotus

Lotus captures the Santana band at the peak of its jazz fusion "Caravanserai" era.
I have recordings of several other live Santana performances and this one tops them all.
The musicians, led by Carlos Santana's blazing guitar, are superb, which is a good thing since most of the cuts on this 2 CD set are instrumentals!
The sound is very good but the poster which accompanied the original Japanese LP album has been shrunk down to CD size therefore rendering it almost impossible to read the liner notes.
This is a "must have" album for Santana fans.
